Fostering a Cocker Spaniel
Fostering a Cocker Spaniel, like any pet, is a serious responsibility that requires commitment. It is the goal of the Cocker Spaniel Rescue CSRBC to be sure that this responsibility, as well as the training and psychological needs of each Cocker be met in its new home. Our application process has been designed to help prospective Cocker Spaniel fosterers address the issues that would directly affect their home and its suitability for a Cocker as well as aiding us in applicant evaluation. The time that a foster dog stays with you can vary greatly. An older dog in may be with you until the end, but a puppy may only be in your home for a few weeks. In the case of rehabilitation programs, the dog or puppy may only be with you as long as it takes to be declared adoptable A foster home is a temporary placement for dogs in a rescue situation. The foster home is responsible for basic housetraining, socialization, health care, and temperament assessment. Some rescued dogs need a lot of extra attention, patience and care, which is why we take so much care in choosing our foster parents. Please click here to obtain an Application to Foster. ![]()
